We hit a milestone today – we broke the 1,000 fan barrier on Facebook.
For a small production like ours, that’s huge. I’m incredibly humbled by the support and love the online community continues to show us, and as a “thank you” I wanted to share this with y’all.
This is what’s been my computer desktop for the last few weeks, and serves as a sneak preview of what we have in store for you in the coming months as we gear up for the DEAD WAIT feature film. Our marketing ninja Lindsey whipped this up after one of my infamous “this is what I’d like to see” sessions, and it looks great.
Oh yeah… In case you hadn’t heard we’re making a movie.
Please feel free to enjoy this desktop, and thanks again for sharing us with your friends, family, and fellow zombie lovers! That’s the best way to get our show in front of folks – nothing is better than word of mouth and your support makes all the difference.
Cheers,

Just a couple of quick items as there’s lots to do as the first new Dead Wait footage since 2010 hits the web today in just over an hour…
First, be sure to watch our YouTube channel like a hawk as the new trailer bows at noon central time today.
Secondly, while you’re waiting for that take a gander at show runner Justin Parlette’s blog from earlier today for a sneak peek at a familial cameo in season two. Is there ANYONE he won’t feed to the undead?
Alright. Back to work. Thanks for your patience and support – Brandon and Justin are hard at work finishing editing episodes, Tim Ferrell of Ludo is busy scoring and we expect to have new episodes ready for you as the leaves begin to turn. A little behind schedule, but this season’s ambitious new look and direction are only going to benefit from the meticulous care being taken in post production. Trust us, you’ll love it.
Whoa, that was quick.
So after two days in St. Joseph, MO filming at the lovely Mitchell Park Plaza apartment complex and a day’s worth of work in Kansas City filming in the historic Country Club Plaza, we can officially announce principal photography for the second season has wrapped! It was a really fun shoot, with a huge cast and crew trekking each day from as far away as Emporia, KS to film some really gruesome stuff as we finally get Adam out of the apartment and swinging at the undead with his custom bat.
Did we mention the bat is all new this season? Yeah, with a larger budget we were able to make some design improvements to our trademark weapon and it’s more destructive than ever. Dan Hillaker (Adam) swears the bat was never near his legs, but by the end of the first day his jeans had more than a few rips in ‘em! Here’s a close-up photo, just for you guys.
For more behind the scenes action, head over to our Facebook Page and check out our behind the scenes photos, many of which were snapped by ace photographers Bob Eastman and Thomas Cray.
Now comes the fun part: Editing, composing the score with Ludo’s Tim Ferrell, adding sound effects, digital effects and color correcting the finished product so we can get these new chapters up for you this summer.
New co-director Justin Gardner and myself are really proud of the footage we were able to capture, and we think you’ll agree no matter how much you loved chapters 1-6, our new installments will blow you away. I’m chomping at the bit to share it all with you! And remember, the more fans we have the better the series can be, so if you haven’t shared us with your friends yet please do so by pointing them to this very site, Facebook, or if they’re so inclined they can even follow us on Twitter.
Thanks for all the support, and I’ll see ya’ll real soon with new footage to share with you.

By now you’ve heard we’re launching the new website this coming Wednesday. With it you’ll also get a sneak peek at the new teaser from our upcoming chapters, but if you can’t wait we have something very special going on over at our Facebook page.
We’re just north of 800 fans as of this writing. If we can break the thousand mark before Monday, we’ll premiere the trailer for our Facebook fans BEFORE we send this thing all over cyberspace later in the week.
All you’ve gotta do is “like” the page, then suggest the page to a few friends. It’s so easy, a zombie could do it.
Cuddles,

Normally I’m loathe to attach the “2.0″ moniker to anything, but when your site makes a huge leap from a fairly slick WordPress theme to something completely new and gorgeous like what our web mistress Jess has put together for the latest version of our site, you have to acknowledge it somehow. A 2.0 attached to the title seems to do the trick.
As we move towards getting everything fully functional (as of this writing we should be 95% operational) we’re also working on a codec issue which is proving to be quite vexing and holding up the release of our trailer.
So poke around, let us know what’s working or not working, and be sure to become fans on Facebook and follow us on Twitter (you can use the dedicated “Social Media” link on the home page for quick access to those sites) for all the latest news!
See you soon,
