Dead Wait the Web Series: What If You Prepared For the Wrong Apocalypse? What if you prepared for the wrong apocalypse?
Season 2 Principal is WRAPPED!

Whoa, that was quick.

So after two days in St. Joseph, MO filming at the lovely Mitchell Park Plaza apartment complex and a day’s worth of work in Kansas City filming in the historic Country Club Plaza, we can officially announce principal photography for the second season has wrapped! It was a really fun shoot, with a huge cast and crew trekking each day from as far away as Emporia, KS to film some really gruesome stuff as we finally get Adam out of the apartment and swinging at the undead with his custom bat.

Did we mention the bat is all new this season? Yeah, with a larger budget we were able to make some design improvements to our trademark weapon and it’s more destructive than ever. Dan Hillaker (Adam) swears the bat was never near his legs, but by the end of the first day his jeans had more than a few rips in ‘em! Here’s a close-up photo, just for you guys.

The Bat - Season 2

Designed and crafted by Brian Anderson, Adam's new bat is dangerous to zombie and human alike!

For more behind the scenes action, head over to our Facebook Page and check out our behind the scenes photos, many of which were snapped by ace photographers Bob Eastman and Thomas Cray.

Now comes the fun part: Editing, composing the score with Ludo’s Tim Ferrell, adding sound effects, digital effects and color correcting the finished product so we can get these new chapters up for you this summer.

New co-director Justin Gardner and myself are really proud of the footage we were able to capture, and we think you’ll agree no matter how much you loved chapters 1-6, our new installments will blow you away. I’m chomping at the bit to share it all with you! And remember, the more fans we have the better the series can be, so if you haven’t shared us with your friends yet please do so by pointing them to this very site, Facebook, or if they’re so inclined they can even follow us on Twitter.

Thanks for all the support, and I’ll see ya’ll real soon with new footage to share with you.
